City Hall is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through

either by phoning the Grays Harbor County Auditor
at 249-4121 or by visiting the Clerk's office at

do I contact to find out about garbage and recycling
pick-up? |

| LeMay Enterprises (360) 533-1251 operates the garbage
collection and disposal service. They also have information
on recycling at curb-side and at their facility and
also operate a hazardous waste disposal site. |

| 6. When
does one need a building permit? |
 |
| Most anything that is a structural change, requires
a building permit. Permits are required for the following
types of construction: additions, plumbing alterations,
fences, new buildings, signs, lawn sprinkler systems,
electrical alterations (see Dept. of Labor & Industry
for electrical permits), decks, driveways, roofs,
fireplaces, relocation of structures, site development
and swimming pools. |

do I pay a citation or parking ticket? |
 |
| Citation and Parking tickets may be paid at the
Police Department on weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00
a.m. or by contacting the Court Clerk at (360) 532-9264.
You can pay your ticket or file an appeal. Read the
instructions on the back of the ticket for more information
or call the Court Clerk at the number listed above. |

| You must first apply at City Hall for New Tenant
Occupancy. Once approval is given and a Certificate
of Occupancy issued, you may apply at the Clerk's
Office to obtain your business license. |
