The
Cosmopolis Police Department saw many changes
to its personnel roster in 2004. We take this
opportunity to welcome our new officers, and
to say farewell to those who resigned or retired.

Officer Dennis Luce
Hired 12-04
We welcome Dennis back to the department and are
glad to see him wearing a Cosmopolis uniform once
again. Dennis had spent the last year of his career
with the Westport Police Department, and is eager
to continue his career with the Cosmopolis Police
Department.
Officer Vance Johnson
Hired 12-04
Vance worked as a provisional officer for the city
prior to his fulltime appointment. Vance has established
himself as a hard worker, especially in the field
of traffic enforcement.
Chief Casey Stratton
Hired 11-04
Chief Stratton, a former officer with the Cosmopolis
Police Department, has returned home to head the
department. Chief Stratton is eager to reestablish
a stable, healthy work environment for his officers
and is committed to community interaction and partnership
for effect law enforcement.
Deputy Chief Heath Layman is a
valuable asset to the department and continues to
lead the officers of the department with professional
guidance and sound Judgement. In December of 2004
Deputy Chief Layman attended, and successfully completed,
a first line supervision course. |
